Miss Blossom Dunit came into our rescue program on July 26, 2023. Miss Blossom Dunit came into our rescue program from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office along with 28 other horses, 23 cows, and 19 sheep and goats, as a cruelty case. Sadly, 2 of the cows had to be euthanized the day of the seizure. The animals were living in deplorable conditions, not enough land or food to accommodate 71 total animals. On January 25, 2024, in the district court of Lincoln County and the State of Oklahoma having filed its motion regarding the animals, court has awarded the ownership to Blaze's Tribute Equine Rescue. Although we do know some of the horse's identities, all horses will be adopted out as grade horses, without registration papers, as the former owner has not released those. Miss Blossom Dunit is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Miss Blossom Dunit was foaled on March 26, 2003, which makes her 20 years of age upon arrival into our program. Miss Blossom Dunit is emaciated with a body score of a 1. Bloodwork showed her to be anemic and her fecal shows she was infested with internal parasites. Miss Blossom Dunit has a long road of recovery ahead of her. We will update as she progresses. Please consider making a donation towards Miss Blossom Dunit's Rehabilition.

Update March 2024 Miss Blossom Dunit is now seeking a forever, loving home to call her own. This beautiful girl has come a long way and looks great. It's amazing how much a healthy nutritional diet can change their coloring. Miss Blossom Dunit is super sweet and loves attention. This beautiful girl is broke to ride. We would recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area as we don't know when she was routinely ridden last. Most of this group has been former play day horses. Miss Blossom Dunit neck reins and rides good, however, she has more Go than Whoa! She will make someone an excellent horse. Miss Blossom Dunit stands at stands 15 hands tall. Miss Blossom Dunit stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Miss Blossom Dunit has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming and hoof maintenance.
